Language Confusion

Hello| Hallo| Halo|
Good Morning| Guten Morgen| Buenos Días|
Selamat Pagi| 좋은 아침| 早上好| おはようございます!!

So, talking about language..
In this world we've got soo many language from various country, plus the traditional language/ accent from tribals in a country. Plus gesture. It just countless!

My mother language is of course Indonesian, because I come from this country. I've been learning English since I was, hmm.. let's see.. a kiddo. But up till now, my english still suck. I take an IGCSE exam last year with subject English as a second language. Gratefully, I passed the test, but my mark is really awful for me.
I've been interested in Japanese language, because I just love them, I love Japan. In my senior high school, I got the chance to learn it. I find it very interesting especially for the letter (I mean the character), but difficult for the grammar. I get more vocabulary from watching anime (Japanese animation) and Jdorama (Japanese Drama), and it make me similar with their accent or how did they talk. So If you want to get used to Japanese or any other language, try as much as possible to watch or hear (it can be movie, cartoon, music, etc) anything that has the language that you want to learn.
As for now, since last October 2013, I've started to learn German/ Deutsch up till now. Almost every day I use and learn German at the course, and becoming less to learn/ speak in English
And then, what's the problem? What's the big deal?

I do find a little problem.
I start to realize that I almost fill up my head with German, and start forgetting English little by little, I only remember very little about Japanese, even a bit of my own mother language (the formal one, not the daily language).

It feels like all the language that I've learned so far had mixed up in my brain. When I tried to speak in English, I start to add some German word without realizing it (for the example: I use "und" instead of "and"). I still can understand English clearly, but I think I messed up with the pronunciation and how to spell it. Even right now, when I type this post, I already made so many mistake. Well, I don't really care about my grammar though, as long as people still can understand me. Gladly, there's an auto correct, that'll correct my mistake, and it feels like it reminds me again the right spelling. As for Japanese, I used to know many vocabulary. And for now, I don't know, I think they're hiding deep down in my mind.
Sometimes when I'd like to answer a question, unconsciously I start to answer in with German, and then I have to repeat the answer using Indonesian/ English. The other thing is when I found a word in Indonesia for a Cafe/ Boutique/ Restaurant, when they contain this "ei" and "eu". I start to spell it just the way like the German did. It's such a disaster. Or you say it in German, Das ist eine Katastrophe!
Makes me a bit confused, but funny in some other way.

That's why I start to write in this blog again. I think it may help me to recall what I had forgotten.

I do say that it makes me confused, but I don't say and I won't say that I hate or regret to learn all of this. This is my own experience. So almost most of my classmates found Japanese (the Grammar and its letter) difficult, plus they also didn't like the sensei. In my vision, it feels like they totally hate that language. Well, I did think the same way, but I never hate it and always think it very amusing. Y'know, In my point of view, learning a language is challenging. If you think it like that, I'm sure you'll never get bored of it. Even when you do, you'll start to get interest in it again and again. I think language is very unique. When you think that a language from a country with its full of character letter and its own rule of grammar differ to the other country language. It just sooo many. Don't you think it's very interesting if you can learn little by little every each of them? :)
Don't put up that word "Hate" and "difficult" in your mind. It'll make you difficult to learn it, and it'll be hard for you to develop. Think it as a beautiful things to learn.

So what are you waiting for? Don't be afraid, don't hold your self to start learning about new things and new language! Be brave, be confident. My dad always tell me to learn as much language as possible, because it'll be good for your own future. Especially when you want to look for a job. Language is always the key, beside leadership and skill. The more language you can understand and speak in it, it'll be easier for you to get a job.

If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart.
